Meet "Chuck" the Cherokee!

I am the second owner, purchased Fall 2023. Runs but has the common Jeep XJ electrical issues. New CKP Sensor (crank position
sensor), distributor, cam position sensor, throttle position sensor, air intake temperature sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires,
leaf spring hangers, leaf springs, 0.75" Rough Country shackles installed in the rear (I have the 0.75" spacer blocks to install
in the front to finish the 'lift'). Slightly larger tires installed on the stock Country trim aluminum rims. P235/75R15 Goodyear
Wranglers, stock tires were P225/70/R15.

4.0L inline 6 cylinder engine.

4WD on the fly, floor mount lever.

Heat works (stuck on windshield defrost). I've replaced the climate control resistor.

AC does not work, have not checked the compressor for root cause.

Cruise control does not work.

Chuck was a faithful family hauler for friends of mine since it was brand new off the lot until Fall 2023 when I bought it. It is
a "1996.5" XJ Cherokee, being made half way through the year. It is the pre-1997 facelift interior styling. It was not running
when I bought it and had been sitting for about two years (intermittently being cranked over in that time). The radio had been
stolen out of it during its life with the family's daughter in her time living in St. Paul, and it never ran well for them since
then. I began by putting in a new battery
